Help, I’m alive.

Yes, I haven’t blogged for about two weeks now, but with Christmas happening and all that, life has been busy for me. For once. But now that Christmas has come and gone, I’m back to reading books and watching television shows all day with some shopping added in there.

I had a pretty good Christmas. My mum’s best friend, Jen, and her daughter (my childhood BFF), Bella, spent Christmas day at our house and we had a laugh! It was soo good! I dressed up as an Old Italian Widow, Maria, and there’s even a video of me acting like her. Needless to say, I have amused and made many people laugh this Christmas which is really all I can ask for as a Christmas present.

I didn’t get anything I really wanted or needed for Christmas, but I’m totally okay with it and thankful anyway; Dad gave me $300 as a present so I’ve spent over half of it on shit I’ve wanted for a while. I brought the True Blood box set as well as some David Bowie dvds, Sex and the City season two, The Office US season five, and Misfits season one. I also brought some stuff I needed and a David Bowie t-shirt! WOOOO! I still have heaps of money to spend plus a $50 gift voucher, so I’m pretty content at the moment, feeding my materialistic needs.

Although I need cigarettes. Badly. I have three left and I thought Jen would get me some for Christmas, but she didn’t. I’ll either have to find a way for her to buy them or wait until Durell gets back from the Phillipines on the 29th. I need them before New Years Eve because I’ve been invited to a New Years party! The first New Years party I’ll ever go to where I’ll be getting wasted and having a fucking awesome time with my closest friends. I’m so excited! No idea how I’ll get there and home, but I’ll find a way. Like always. I always find a way to party and drink because I’m pretty good at it.

That’s my update at the moment because I’ve been reading a lot lately, and for once, I feel like writing. Let’s see how far I get..

I am the Scrooge of Christmas.

Yes, it is true. I’m not a huge fan of Christmas, and here’s why:

• When shopping during Christmas, all you hear is annoying carols being played 24/7.
• If you don’t have a lot of money, you can’t buy a lot of presents. That’s no fun at all.
• Here in Australia, it isn’t even a white Christmas. It’s fucking hot and it’s Summer. If I lived in the Northern Hemisphere, I reckon I would love Christmas. But because it’s Summer when we have Christmas, the worst season in my opinion, it’s completely shit.

I think that’s all really. I just find Christmas time totally annoying; everyone’s like “OMMGGMG CHRISTMASSS BLAHHBLALH” and I’m not like that. The only good thing about this time of year is the food, and ultimately, the presents. However big or small. Oh, and an excuse to watch Home Alone 1, 2 and 3. Best Christmas movies in my opinion!

Despite my apathetic mood for Christmas, there are still some things I would like to see glistening under the Christmas tree on Christmas morning. Well, we don’t even have a tree up this year because we can’t really be bothered. Anyway, these are the things I would like (since I’ve been meaning to make a X-Mas which list for a while):

• All three seasons of True Blood, and all seasons of Glee plus the Glee Live Concert. Yes, I love Glee… It’s just so amazing! And what do you know, Glee comes up on my iTunes shuffle just as I’m writing about it.
• Anything David Bowie related – vinyls, cds, shirts, dvds, anything!
• A record player. I need one to play all my cool/lame vinyls on because mum threw our other one out.
• Some really good headphones. Like, legit ones, because I listen to music way too much.
•  BOOKS! BOOKS! BOOKS! I can’t fucking stop reading, and there’s so many books I always want to read!
• Some cigarettes please :)

That’s about it. A pretty extensive list, if you ask me. But since I’m so poor, I doubt I’ll get everything I want, which is okay because I can always save up money and get it myself. Weow!

If you didn’t already know by now, I sincerely love making lists. It’s not even lists that help me become more organised because I am a severely messy and unorganised person. I just love making pointless, useless lists that occupy my time and then I never look at them again. So you’ll probably be seeing more lists on this blog in the future.

Hello, I love you.

So, this is my first ever post on this wordpress blog I have found. Cigarettehugs, is what my blog has been crowned as, which I hope does not sound too pretentious or anything. I actually do smoke, a bad habit for a young girl like myself, I know. But it calms me immensely.

Anyway, on this blog there are a few things to expect that I will talk about:

• David Bowie and my obsessive love for that unique, beautiful man who creates the most amazing music.
• My life. The funny moments, the bad and my weird ranting about things that happen. I can’t say it will be too exciting.
• Any other things I love, like True Blood, Glee, music (you’ll eventually learn my tastes), The Hunger Games, Books, and anything else I can think of really. Maybe I’ll even do some book reviews ;)
• My writing. I love to write, although I rarely get to do it. I’ll post some of it, but I can’t promise it will be absolutely amazing.

So who am I?

Well, let’s call me Ziggy. I graduated high school about two weeks ago and now I don’t know what to do with my life besides blog, go on the internet, read and watch movies. I don’t have a job because I’ve never actually had a job, so therefore I have hardly any fucking experience. This means that it’s harder for me to actually get a job. Uncannily annoying. My dream is to one day become a successful published writer, but who knows if that really will happen? I try to be realistic. But to achieve my dream, I will be hopefully attending university and studying Creative & Professional Writing. Weeoooow! I am so excited for my life to start and to finally enter the real world!

Anyway, I think that’s all you bitches need to know about me right now.

Oh, wait, one more thing. I’m a pretty funny bitch who swears a lot and makes sexual innuendos and jokes. I hope that doesn’t come between our cyber relationship ;)
